My name is Wilma, and I am honored to share in your journey to transform yourself into a more satisfying life. By taking this first step you are already recognized as being brave and curious. As your counselor, I will work hard to provide you with the tools necessary to navigate through challenges in a way that brings out your strengths and full potential. I believe everyone is unique and has the resources necessary for a successful life.

I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Sam Houston State University. I am currently a License Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Erica Cleveland, LPC-S. I also completed a master’s degree in special education from Texas Tech University, with a certification as an Educational Diagnostician. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Sam Houston State University in 1997, and I taught in public schools for 23 years. I worked with elementary students with special needs, gifted and talented, and those with behavioral concerns. In my spare time, I love to read, vacation on the beach, and spend time with my grandchildren.
