Jingli "Julie"

Therapist

Jingli Talkington (Julie) earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and is licensed by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council. She is currently under supervision as she pursues her clinical license.

Jingli has worked with a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and families facing mental health and substance use challenges. She specializes in stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and more.

Growing up in China and raising her family across multiple countries have given Jingli a rich cultural awareness and a deep understanding of how environmental changes impact mental health. Her diverse life experiences allow her to connect with her clients in an empathetic and nonjudgmental way.

As a mature woman, Jingli brings a wealth of life experience that enhances her effectiveness as a therapist. Her personal journey has fostered compassion, resilience, and wisdom—qualities that help her build trust and create meaningful connections with clients. She understands that healing goes beyond theory, requiring an appreciation for real-life struggles.

Guided by a person-centered approach, Jingli believes that each client is the expert in their own experience. Her role is to help them navigate challenges with clarity and explore new perspectives to foster growth and healing.
