I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with a desire to stimulate self-exploration and discovery through the trials and tribulations life tends to throw our way. Personal experiences and inclinations led me to pursue a career in counseling, a path I value immensely. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University.

Previously, I completed my internship at a local women's center as an unlicensed therapist while seeking my Master's degree. While I was initially nervous and felt unprepared, my time working with those who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault was what cemented my passion for counseling. Words fail to describe the joy I experience when clients learn, grow, and excel, despite their circumstances. During my time at the women's center, I provided trauma informed care to individuals from many walks of life. While I have the tools to provide therapy, ultimately the client is the expert of their mind and body. Therapy is a collaborative effort that you and I must take to improve your quality of life and achieve your goals. The relationship between therapist and client is the heart of all counseling.

I currently work with individuals who are 16 and older. My current experience lies with dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. Counseling is a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and experience, thus I also strive to grow as a clinician along with my clients.
